Cohen as Vice President of Marketing. "Wrenchead.com is fast becoming the leader in the online automotive aftermarket. Carl's understanding of our competitive situation, in addition to his ability to employ the necessary business-to-consumer and business-to-business marketing techniques, will enable us to reach and keep our goal of being number one in the online automotive aftermarket business," said Gus Conrades, Wrenchead.com's president and CEO. "He will be the primary architect of the Wrenchead.com brand." "Our principal goals at Wrenchead.com are to generate unprecedented brand awareness, site traffic and sales for Wrenchead in both its consumer and B2B categories," said Cohen. Cohen, most recently the Executive Vice President of Marketing for Championship Auto Racing Teams (CART), has a 15-year record of excellence in marketing and brand management. During his tenure, CART's revenues increased more than $20 million, and news media coverage of the company grew by 25 percent. Prior to his position at CART, Cohen was Director of Marketing for Ryder System, the commercial leasing and trucking company based in Miami, and Senior Brand Manager for Phillip Morris USA (PM). At PM, Cohen gained extensive experience in building brands and leveraging sponsorship. Cohen holds an MBA in marketing from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. Wayne Cloth, who was named Director of Advertising and Sponsorships. Prior to joining Wrenchead.com, Keating was a consultant for GTE Internetworking where she specialized in electronic business. In this role, Keating developed e-commerce strategies for large media corporations and business partners. Keating's background includes 13 years of sales and marketing experience with Thomson Financial Services and SEI Corporation. She holds a BA in Business Management form Hartwick College. Cloth, who has a significant background in marketing and sponsorship management, will develop and coordinate Wrenchead.com's expanding sponsorship marketing efforts. His two primary areas of responsibility will be advertising sales and motorsport sponsorships. Formerly Cloth was Regional Advertising Sales Manager with NASCAR's Q-2 Publishing, publisher of Inside NASCAR Magazine and NASCAR Magazine. He also spent four years as Advertising Director of National Speed Sport News and held several positions in media buying at top advertising agencies. Cloth, a 1985 graduate of Long Island University, holds a professional auto-racing license from the Sports Car Club of America.
