Jeff Stevenson is named Vice President - Sales and Marketing and Maurice Sessel is appointed Vice President - Car and Jeep Platforms, both reporting to Lear's DaimlerChrysler Division President Louis R. Salvatore. (Photo: http://www.newscom.com/cgi-bin/prnh/20000328/DETU010-a http://www.newscom.com/cgi-bin/prnh/20000328/DETU010-b ) As Vice President - Sales and Marketing, Stevenson is responsible for directing all sales and marketing activity in North America for Lear's DaimlerChrysler Division. Stevenson joined Lear in 1995 as a Program Manager in the Chrysler Division as a result of Lear's acquisition of Masland Industries. He has since held positions of increasing responsibility within the division. Stevenson most recently was Director of Interior Trim overseeing program management, engineering and design for all DaimlerChrysler passenger car and Jeep platforms. His 14-year career in the automotive industry includes ten years as a manufacturer's representative specializing in interior trim components. Stevenson earned a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Northwood University in Midland, Michigan (USA). He and his wife, Debbie, live in Shelby Township, Michigan, with their two children. In his new position, Sessel is responsible for engineering, program management, sales coordination and quality support for the DaimlerChrysler car and Jeep platforms, replacing Jeff Stevenson. Sessel joined Lear in 1998 as a Vice President of Global Trim Operations for the Ford Division. He most recently served as Vice President - Interior Operations for Lear's Manufacturing Operations Division. Prior to joining Lear he spent 15 years with Ford Motor Company in various manufacturing, engineering and program launch management positions. Sessel earned a bachelor of science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Wyoming, in Laramie, Wyoming (USA). He and his wife, Robin, reside in Farmington Hills, Michigan, with their three children.
