Automotive Hall of Fame Announces New Internet Site

    DEARBORN, Mich., March 28 An organization with roots in
the past, shows it is also part of the future with its new Internet site.  The
Automotive Hall of Fame announced today the launch of its Internet site,
located at http://www.automotivehalloffame.org .
    Designed to introduce the Hall of Fame to browsers around the world, the
site features information about the Hall of Fame's Inductees, special events,
scholarships, catering and more.  The site offers ways to learn about Hall of
Fame special activities and educational opportunities for the general public,
schools, and other groups.  Visitors can also play interactive trivia games to
learn about Inductees, the pioneers of the motor vehicle industry.
    "We are excited to have the Hall of Fame online," says Automotive Hall of
Fame President Gene McKinney.  "This would not have been possible without the
help of our sponsors."  The Hall of Fame site is sponsored by the Motor &
Equipment Manufacturers Association (MEMA), Automotive Warehouse Distributors
Association (AWDA), Automotive Aftermarket Industry Association (AAIA), and
Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA).
    The Automotive Hall of Fame Web site was developed and is hosted by
Management Information Systems Group, Inc. (MISG), a division of MEMA.  MISG,
http://www.misg.com , is a leading provider in E-commerce, EDI and Internet solutions
to the automotive industry.
    The Automotive Hall of Fame is designed to be a visitor attraction and
educational resource.  It celebrates accomplished people of the worldwide
motor vehicle industry for the purpose of inspiring others, especially young
people, to higher levels of achievement in their own work and lives.  It is a
unique "people place" of innovation and inspiration where interactive
experiences and one-on-one demonstrations are entertaining and enlightening.
    Automotive Hall of Fame hours of operation and admission are Memorial Day
to October 31, open 7 days a week, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.; November to Memorial
Day, open Tuesday to Sunday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.  Combination tickets to visit
the Automotive Hall of Fame, Henry Ford Museum & Greenfield Village, Henry
Ford Estate and Spirit of Ford are also available.  The Hall of Fame is
located at 21400 Oakwood Boulevard, Dearborn, Michigan, adjacent to Henry Ford
Museum.
