United Defense Awarded $22.5 Million Contract for Systems Technical Support For the Bradley Program

    SANTA CLARA, Calif., March 27 United Defense has received
a $22.5 million contract modification from the U.S. Army Tank-automotive and
Armaments Command (TACOM) for systems technical support (STS) for the Bradley
Fighting Vehicle program.
    The engineering work will be performed this spring at United Defense's
Santa Clara facility.
    "We will be performing a variety of different engineering activities under
this contract, but most of the work will focus on the Bradley A3 program,"
said Michael Tanda, Bradley Program Director. "This contract is part of our
ongoing effort to support and enhance the Bradley family of vehicles."
