realityBUY.com Adds New VP of Global Sales; Jim Huston Brings 20 Years of Automotive Advertising and Marketing Experience to B2B e-commerce

    IRVINE, Calif.--March 27, 2000--realityBUY.com, a leading e-commerce site for business-to-business solutions, Monday announced the recent addition of Jim Huston as their new vice president of sales and president of realityBUY's automotive division.
    Huston will be responsible for development and deployment of an international team to implement realityBUY.com's aggressive sales programs. The program will target four industries including, automotive, office furniture, industrial products and aerospace.
    Huston has more than 20 years of experience in the advertising business, primarily focused on the automotive industry. He was an account executive at both J. Walter Thompson and D'Arcy, Masius, Benton and Bowles. After that, Huston founded The Zoom Group, a marketing communications consultant firm whose major clients include industry giants Ford Motor Co. Volvo and Sonic Automotive, Inc. Sonic is the country's second largest automotive dealers' group.
    In late February, realityBUY.com acquired the assets of The Zoom Group's interactive media division. In addition to Huston joining the realityBUY.com's management team, under the terms of the acquisition, Huston will remain as the chief executive officer of Zoom Group's Automotive Operations.

    Huston received his bachelor's degree in communication arts and sciences from Michigan State University.
