K. Michael Howse Named Director of Internal Audit for CTS Corporation
ELKHART, Ind.--March 27, 2000--CTS Corporation today announced the appointment of K. Michael Howse to the position of Director of Internal Audit. He will be responsible for the ongoing development and implementation of CTS' worldwide internal auditing programs. Howse comes to CTS with more than 20 years of finance and internal audit experience, most recently with Textron Lycoming where he held the position of Finance Manager, Accounting and Tax.Howse is a 1978 graduate of the University of Houston where he earned a B.S. degree in Finance. He has subsequently participated in postgraduate studies at both the University of Tennessee and the University of Alabama.
He began his business career, in 1978, as Staff Auditor, Tenneco, Inc. He steadily progressed into the positions of Senior Operational Auditor, Transco Company, Inc. (1981-1983); Internal Audit Manager, North American Royalties, Inc. (1983-1984) and Director of Internal Auditing, Durr-Fillauer Medical, Inc. (1984-1988). In September 1988, he joined Textron Lycoming as Manager, Division Internal Audit and Policy Administration, a position he held until 1993 when he was promoted to Finance Manager, Accounting and Tax.
Mr. Howse's professional affiliations include: Institute of Management Accountants; Certified Internal Auditor (CIA 1984) and Institute of Internal Auditors.
Mr. and Mrs. Howse and family will be relocating to the Michiana area in the near future.
