New Summit Racing Sport Compact 200 mph Club Pays $25,000

25 March 2000

TALLMADGE, Ohio - It pays to be first. Actually, it pays a whopping $25,000.

That's what Summit Racing Equipment will pay the first Sport Compact racer in
history who breaks the 200 mile per hour mark. The next nine racers to complete
the task get $1,000 each.

The ten who master this challenge first become members of the Summit Sport
Compact 200 mph club. Doors to the club stay open until all ten spots are
filled, then they're closed forever.

Eligibility for the Summit Sport Compact 200 mph club is open to any race
competitor, with an import or 4 cylinder domestic sport compact doorslammer.
Approved makes are Acura, Honda, Dodge (Neon and Stealth only), Mazda,
Mitsubishi, Nissan, Saturn, Sunfire/Cavalier (4 cylinder only), Toyota, and
water-cooled Volkswagen. No exhibition cars are eligible.

Engines must have the same number of cylinders and design as originally
sold on the vehicle. Engine transplants are allowed, but should be factory
based and made by the same manufacturer as the body.

Opportunities to join the Summit Racing Sport Compact 200 mph Club are at
any races sanctioned by NIRA, PIRA, IDRC, IDRA, AIRA, Drag Wars, Battle of the
Imports, and the Summit Racing Sport Compact Nationals.

Racers must have Summit Racing decals displayed on both sides of their car
(Summit Racing part number SUM-194) when the challenge is met, and submit a
copy of the time slip to Summit Racing with a dated verification form signed
by themselves, a representative of the sanctioning body, and a track official.

For more information, or to order Summit Racing's Sport Compact catalog,
