Executive Changes at Orbital

    PERTH, Australia, March 24 Orbital Engine Corporation's
Chief Financial Officer and joint Company Secretary, Mr. Peter
Hatfull has resigned to pursue a career in the financial services arena.
Orbital is currently engaged in an executive selection process, and will
announce Mr. Hatfull's replacement in due course.  Mr. John Beech, an
Executive Director and Chief Financial Officer from 1989 to 1997 will assume
Mr. Hatfull's responsibilities in the interim period.
    Orbital is a leading international developer of engine technologies using
direct in-cylinder fuel injection and lean-burn systems for enhanced fuel
economy and lower emissions.  The company serves the worldwide automotive,
marine, recreational and motorcycle markets.  Headquartered in Perth, Western
