ADP `Set Apart,' Say Consultants After Attending Industry-first Briefing
HOFFMAN ESTATES, Ill.--March 23, 2000--Dealers and consultants praise choices and value delivered by ADP
ADP DEALER SERVICES "I think ADP has set itself apart," said Sandi Jerome, manager, Consulting Services for CPA firm Jeff Sacks & Associates, Port Angeles, Wash., after attending a special industry technology briefing by ADP Dealer Services.
"Other system providers seem to be very platform-defined, whereas ADP has said, `We'll do whatever the dealer wants,'" Jerome added.
CPAs and consultants attending the briefing learned about new solutions -- from Windows(R)-enhanced service products to e-Business initiatives - which bring more value to their dealer clients.
"ADP can now offer dealers both on-site systems and system applications delivered via the Web, as well as Unix and Windows NT platform choices," Jerome said. "That's a lot of permutations to choose and a lot of different ways to serve them up. I've heard dealers respond well to that, saying `Overall, we feel ADP is going with the most amount of options and they seem to be the most progressive.'"
Participants also learned about ADP's ongoing investment in customer support, including the industry's most advanced support network. The ADP Support Network connects dealers to a high-speed, integrated web of regional support centers and helps clients receive accurate answers faster than ever before.
"Our goal is to deliver the highest value to every dealer, and we're working closely with the firms that advise dealers in their business and technology decisions," said Steve Anenen, ADP senior vice president, North American Transaction Systems.
"The more we are informed of a vendor's services the more value we can be to our clients about those services," said Al Omari, president and CEO of George B. Jones Consulting Company, a member of the George B. Jones Companies, Arlington, Tex., who attended. "These briefings show ADP's commitment to its business partners like us."
