FleetPride, Inc. Announces New Regional Vice Presidents
DEERFIELD, Ill.--March 22, 2000--John Greisch, President and CEO of FleetPride, the nation's largest independent aftermarket truck parts distributor, today announced the appointment of two new regional vice presidents. In addition, Greisch announced the combination of FleetPride's current Mid-Atlantic and Mideast regions into one operating region, which will be called the Mid-Atlantic region.Ross Surratt has been appointed Vice President and General Manager of the newly enlarged Mid-Atlantic region. Surratt joins FleetPride from Fastenal, Inc. where he most recently held the position of Vice President and Regional Manager. He will relocate to the Raleigh area from Dallas, TX, and will join FleetPride on April 3. Jim Stone who is presently Vice President and General Manager of the Mid-Atlantic region, will assume a new role as Vice President-Strategy.
Greisch said of the appointments, "We are pleased to have Ross join the FleetPride management team in this key position. He brings a great deal of industrial distribution experience to the company. In his new position, Jim will be instrumental in helping FleetPride as we develop our long-term strategic initiatives. Enabling Jim to devote his many years of experience towards the development of our key long-term strategic opportunities will provide FleetPride a valuable resource as we continue to grow. Jim will also be working closely with Ross over the next few months to help with his transition.
Lee Stockseth has been promoted to Vice President and General Manager of the Southwest region where he had previously held the position of Vice President and Operations Manager. Stockseth replaces Wayne Stockseth, who will be taking on the position of President of FleetPride's PDC Wholesale Division.
"We are very excited about the growth opportunities for the Wholesale Division," said Greisch. "Wayne and his team will now be able to focus all their attention on growing FleetPride's wholesale business, while Lee's responsibilities will include operations in Texas, Oklahoma, and Nebraska."
