Kimberly J. Riordan Appointed to President of Universal Technical Institute Inc. -- Career School Division

    PHOENIX--March 22, 2000--Universal Technical Institute Inc. (UTI), the educational partner of choice for many prominent automotive manufacturers, Wednesday announced Kimberly J. Riordan has been named to the position of president of the Career School Division.
    As president, Riordan will lead the career school's dynamic growth in the technical training industry. Due to the nationwide shortage of technicians, Riordan will focus on enhancing strategic relationships within the automotive industry to develop opportunities for UTI graduates.
    Riordan began her career with UTI in 1984. Since then, she has held several leadership positions within the organization. Most recently, Riordan was vice president of sales and marketing for UTI Inc., which grossed over $100 million in revenue in 1999.
