Shelby American Signs JMPR

    WOODLAND HILLS, Calif., March 20 Shelby American, Inc. has
retained JMPR Public Relations for media relations responsibilities for its
automotive product line, including the Company's new Series 1 Sportscar.
    The Las Vegas-based company, founded by famed automobile designer Carroll
Shelby, is best known for the legendary Shelby Cobra.
    JMPR will provide national public relations support for the Series 1,
Shelby Cobra, Shelby American corporate news, and its recently established
partnership with Venture Industries.
    JMPR, Inc. is based in Woodland Hills.  Its clients, covering a wide range
of automotive and lifestyle industries, include Meguiar's, Inc., Speedvision
Network, Rolls-Royce and Bentley Motor Cars, Luxury Media Corporation,
Nakamichi of North America, and the Specialty Equipment Market Association
(SEMA).
