Modine Receives NAPA Multi-Line Supplier-of-the-Year Award
RACINE, Wis.--March 16, 2000--The Aftermarket Division of Modine Manufacturing Company has received the prestigious NAPA Multi-Line supplier-of-the-year award.Bob Reilly, General Sales Manager for Multi-Line, a sales agency owned and operated by Genuine Parts Company, which owns NAPA, presented the award to Modine. Multi-Line's 72 district and regional sales managers voted on the supplier award using the following eight criteria: marketing plans, cataloging, sales promotion, technical service, training, communication, sales support, and customer service.
The Multi-Line sales agency represents 13 manufacturers and 19 product lines with total sales of $255 million during 1999. This sales force calls on 69 NAPA Distribution Centers and more than 6,000 jobbers in the United States and Caribbean. Multi-Line started representing Modine in 1990. Since 1995, NAPA and Modine have doubled radiator sales, while recording one of the best percentage sales increases in the whole NAPA system.
In presenting the award, Reilly said, "Modine has done an outstanding job in working with NAPA and the Multi-Line sales force to increase volume, while maintaining a high level of service. Excellent product quality, line coverage, and order fill have enabled NAPA to increase radiator sales, while better serving the needs of our customers. The Modine Aftermarket Division has earned the respect of the entire NAPA Multi-Line organization."
