Fourth Annual Automotive Supplier Charity Roast Set for April 11DETROIT, March 16 The Fourth Annual Automotive Supplier Charity Roast will salute Southwood "Woody" Morcott, chief executive officer of Dana Corporation, on Tuesday, April 11 at the Detroit Athletic Club. "Woody has been in the forefront of setting the highest standards of OEM- supplier dialogue during his 37-year Dana career. The recognition of his contribution by his fellow suppliers is richly deserved," John C. Farris, co-chairman of the Roast said. "In addition to his business leadership, Woody has always found time for giving back to his community organizations like the Boy Scouts." Roasters for Morcott will be Roger Fridholm, President of the Business Technology & Staffing Services Group of MSX International; Timothy Leulitte, senior managing director and CEO of Heartland Industrial Partners; Harold A. "Red" Poling, Retired CEO of Ford Motor Company; and Heinz C. Prechter, Chairman and Founder of ASC. The reception begins at 6 p.m., followed by dinner at 7:15 p.m. Proceeds from the event will be donated to two charities selected by Morcott: the Erie Shores Council of the Boy Scouts of America and the MINDS Program. Last year's event raised more than $40,000.
