Lexus Sales on Rise in Atlanta

    MIAMI, March 13 Bolstered by the continued popularity of
the RX 300 and LX 470 sport utility vehicles, Lexus' four Atlanta-area
dealerships today reported a 23-percent climb in February retail sales over
the year-ago month.
    Atlanta-area dealerships include Hennessy Lexus of Atlanta, Hennessy Lexus
of Gwinnett, Nalley Lexus - Marietta and Nalley Lexus - Roswell.
    Sales leaders for the month include LX 470, up 46 percent; RX 300, up 38
percent; ES 300, up 22; and GS 300, up 14 percent.
    Nationwide, Lexus posted record-breaking February sales, up 0.8 percent
over February 1999.
