DynaMotive Technologies Announces the Appointment of Mr. Antony Robson as Managing Director

13 March 2000

DynaMotive Technologies Announces the Appointment of Mr. Antony Robson as Managing Director of DynaMotive Europe Limited and the Establishment of European Corporate Headquarters in London, England
VANCOUVER, March 13 /CNW-PRN/ - DynaMotive Technologies Corporation
(OTCBB: DYMTF) today announced the appointment of Mr. Antony Robson as
Managing Director of its European subsidiary - DynaMotive Europe Limited
(formerly DynaMotive UK Limited) - and establishment of European corporate
headquarters in London, UK.
`The European market presents significant opportunities for DynaMotive.
Expanding our presence in Europe and developing regional capabilities is a
logical step in the commercialization of DynaMotive's technologies,` said
Richard Lin, Chairman of DynaMotive Technologies Corporation and DynaMotive
Europe Limited. `Mr. Robson brings considerable commercial experience to our
team and a track record of successfully delivering on commercial projects. His
organizational experience will also prove invaluable in further developing our
European base.`
Commenting on his appointment Mr. Robson said, `The conditions in Europe
are ripe for DynaMotive. The regulatory requirements relating to 'green
energy' combined with high fossil fuel prices and carbon taxes makes our
BioOil a very attractive alternative fuel source. This fact, coupled with our
leadership position in pyrolysis technology, provides a compelling case for
our Company. Over the past year, DynaMotive has established relationships with
engine manufacturers, energy utilities, engineering firms and government
organizations. I intend to further strengthen our ties in Europe to develop
and create a significant market presence in our European target markets of the
UK, Scandinavia, France, Germany, Spain, Italy, Ireland and Greece.`
In addition to Mr. Robson, the European operation will be supported by Mr.
Hugh Moss, Director; Mr. Andrew Kingston, President and CEO, DynaMotive
Technologies Corporation and DynaMotive Europe Limited; Mr. Steve Ives, CFO,
DynaMotive Technologies Corporation; and Mr. John Leech, Director, Biomass
Projects.
DynaMotive has had a representative office in the United Kingdom since
1997 and has participated in European Community sponsored research programs.
The Company continues to participate in the fuel emissions reduction EU Joule
Program announced in 1998, and is committed to developing additional ties with
the research community with a view to developing further commercial
applications of BioOil.
DynaMotive Technologies is a world leader in the development of BioOil
clean fuels for power generation in gas turbines, diesel engines and boilers.
BioOil is produced using a patented waste-to-energy technology that converts
low-value organic wastes into a petroleum-like liquid. Unlike fossil fuels,
BioOil is renewable, clean burning, low in emissions, greenhouse gas neutral
and can be produced economically from organic waste materials. The Company is
