Kelso To Debut Its JS75 SRV Valve To Prospective Buyers
VANCOUVER, B.C.--March 10, 2000--Mr. Stephen L. Grossman, President and C.E.O. of Kelso Technologies Inc. (CDNX:KLS) announced today that Kelso's patented JS75 SRV pressure relief valve will make its public debut on March 15-16, 2000 at the Twenty Second Annual AAR North American Rail Mechanical Operations Seminar at the Hyatt Regency Chicago in Chicago, Illinois. With an estimated attendance of over 1,000 representatives of the rail industry from around the world, Mr. Grossman said, "This is a very important opportunity in Kelso's development towards commercialization as it is the first time its technology has been presented to prospective buyers. These key individuals have the authority and expertise to make educated decisions on future purchases of Kelso's innovative products for commercial use."
Kelso is very grateful to Salco Products Inc. for the opportunity to join them in one of their booths at the seminar. Salco is a major North American marketing and distribution company for the railroad, chemical, petroleum, plastics, minerals, and food industries. Kelso is committed to the future development of industry-specific valves utilizing JS SRV technology in the areas of chemical, petroleum, boiler pressure, marine transportation, pipeline and trucking.
The seminar will provide those in the rail industry the ability to see first hand and understand the many unique differences and advantages of the JS75 SRV Valve over current valves being used today for 75 - pound general-purpose tank cars. Some of the major advantages are: no commodity contamination, superior high flow rate performance at an 85 P.S.I. flow which is the highest flow rate with external springs, the elimination of a safety valve nozzle, the elimination of deflection or pneumatic tools for assembly and disassembly of the valve and thus enhancing worker safety, reduced new car construction costs, reduced maintenance cost with no costly detours to repair facilities and price competitive. In addition, the JS75 SRV is 35% lighter allowing increased shipment loads and cost savings to shippers.
