DaimlerChrysler Corporation Reports U.S. and Canadian Assembly Plant Schedule for Week of March 13, 2000

    AUBURN HILLS, Mich., March 9 DaimlerChrysler Corporation
reports all nine U.S. assembly plants and all three Canadian assembly plants
will operate the week of March 13, 2000.
    Belvidere (IL) and Sterling Heights (MI) will operate two eight-and-a-half
hour shifts weekdays.  Conner Ave. (MI), will operate one eight-hour shift
weekdays.  Dodge City Complex-Warren Truck (MI), and St. Louis-South (Fenton,
MO) will operate two nine-hour shifts weekdays and two eight-and a-half hour
shifts Saturday, March 11.  Jefferson-North (Detroit, MI) will operate three
seven-and-a-half hour shifts weekdays and three seven and a-half hour shifts
on Saturday, March 11.
    Newark (DE), will operate two nine-and-a-half hour shifts weekdays.  St.
Louis-North (Fenton, MO) will operate two nine-hour shifts weekdays.  Toledo
(OH) will operate two eight-hour shifts weekdays, and will work two eight-hour
shifts Saturday, March 11.
    In Ontario, Canada, Bramalea will operate three seven-and-a-half hour
shifts weekdays and three seven-and-a-half hour shifts Saturday, March 11.
Pillette will operate two eight-hour shifts weekdays.  Windsor will operate
three seven-and-a-half hour shifts weekdays, and three seven-and-a-half hour
shifts on Saturday, March 11.
