Aero Colours Appoints Timothy Galfas to President of Their Franchise Division

    MINNEAPOLIS--March 9, 2000--James F. Spellmire, Chairman and CEO of Aero Colours, announced today that Timothy Galfas, former Director, President and CEO of Colors on Parade, has been appointed to the position of President of the Franchise Operations Division of Aero Colours.
    Mr. Galfas joined Aero Colours as a consultant in November 1999 prior to being appointed to this position in February 2000.
    Mr. Galfas has extensive experience in franchising related to the automotive aftermarket industry.
    Beginning in 1978, Mr. Galfas has closed over 550 franchise agreements, implemented 180 turnarounds, published three books, organized and conducted hundreds of seminars and conventions varying in attendance from 10 persons to 50,000, produced and edited movies and television commercials and organized and grew two franchise systems.
    Of the two franchise systems he organized, he led the first system to 125 units in 3 years. The second franchise system's sales grew at a compound annual rate of 50% and from 37 to 343 units over six years being among the 50 fastest growing systems in North America two years in a row.
    Named franchiser of the year in 1998 by the Southeast Franchise Forum and Kennesaw State University, he has been recognized in Successful Franchising and Franchising World and The Marquis editions of Who's Who in the World, Who's Who in America and Who's Who in Finance and Industry.
    Aero Colours is pleased to have Mr. Galfas join its executive management team of James F. Spellmire and Kathleen Trembath Spellmire, President of the Company Operations Division.
