JAKKS Pacific Inc. Signs Licensing Agreement With Motorcycle Manufacturer Yamaha
MALIBU, Calif.--March 8, 2000--JAKKS Pacific Inc. today announced that it has signed a licensing agreement with Yamaha Motor Co., Ltd.Under the terms of the agreement, JAKKS Pacific Inc. will design and manufacture, under its Road Champs(R) MXS brand, collectible miniature plastic and die-cast replicas of Yamaha's motorcycles, motocross/supercross playsets, and motocross/supercross accessories. The product lines are expected to launch in mid-2000.
In addition to a full line of motorcycles -- including touring, super sport and dual purpose models, as well as motocross and supercross models -- Yamaha manufactures ATVs, sport boats, snowmobiles, and outboard motors.
