PDA Signs New Agreement with Mitchell International

7 March 2000

New Agreement Extends Mitchell Services to 2005

SAN DIEGO--Property Damage Appraisers, Inc., one of the largest and most
respected companies specializing in auto damage appraising, has signed a new
long term agreement with Mitchell International, the Source for business
solutions to the property and casualty insurance, collision repair and
automotive recycling industries. Under the new agreement, PDA franchises will
take advantage of Mitchell's entire suite of automotive and property appraisal
systems, including; the UltraMate Auto Estimating System; ImageMate, Digital
Imaging System; QRP (Quality Recycled Parts), Recycled Parts Locator; MAPP
(Mitchell Alternate Parts Program), Aftermarket and Remanufactured Parts
Locator; ValueMate (Actual Cash Value System); RMC (Refinish Materials
Calculator); Medium/Heavy Truck Guide; EXPRESSreview (Mitchell's new estimate
auditing tool); and Boeckh's IntegriClaim Property Estimating System.

"We are pleased that PDA is both extending its relationship with Mitchell
into the next century and embracing the total Mitchell solution," said Todd
Mavis, Mitchell executive vice president and general manager. "By utilizing
our complete suite of products, PDA has demonstrated its commitment to
maintaining it's leadership role in all facets of the appraisal market," Mavis
added.

"In particular, the new agreement with Boeckh demonstrates PDA's
commitment to property appraisal by providing franchises with the industry's
most advanced automated Property estimating system."

"The decision to enter into this agreement with Mitchell was simple," said
Larry Jordan, PDA President. "We have been extremely satisfied with Mitchell
to this point. More importantly, no other information provider offers the
depth and breadth of appraisal tools that Mitchell does."

The Mitchell products will help PDA control costs in several ways. QRP
and MAPP will allow PDA to better manage alternate parts usage and increase
their alternate parts use, thus decreasing their customers' expenses. In
addition, RMC will add another option for PDA to calculate paint materials
costs. "The RMC materials costing is becoming the standard in many states,"
said Mavis. "This solution keeps PDA at the forefront of independent
appraisal companies."
