ALLDATA Announces Plans to Move to a New Location; Growing Customer Base and New Products Result in Need for Larger FacilityELK GROVE, Calif., March 6 Sacramento County and ALLDATA, the Elk Grove-based, world-wide market leader in publishing computer-based automotive diagnostic, repair and estimating information for automotive service providers, is in final negotiations with Panattoni Development Company to construct an initial 100,000 square-foot, two-story Customer Support Center to be located in the new Stone Lake Laguna subdivision. A land purchase is being negotiated that would allow for expansion to a second 100,000 square- foot building within the next three years. The actual move-in date is subject to completing negotiations on the property and the facility. "ALLDATA's new Worldwide Customer Support Center will more than double our current facility size, enabling us to continue to expand our product development and customer support efforts, " said Brett Easley, ALLDATA's President, Customer Satisfaction. The decision to stay in Elk Grove is welcome news to the more than 320 employees at ALLDATA, 60 percent of whom live in the Elk Grove/Laguna area. "Sacramento County is pleased to have a growing company with the track record of ALLDATA choose the Elk Grove/Laguna area for expansion of its facilities," said Sacramento County Supervisor Don Nottoli. Sacramento County and ALLDATA would like to recognize the assistance of the Sacramento Area Commerce and Trade Organization (SACTO), the Sacramento Municipal Utility District (SMUD) and the Elk Grove Community Services District for their help and cooperation on this project.
