Ricart Ford Wisely Steps Into ASA

Nation^s Number #1 Ford Dealer Supports ASA Taurus Program

PENDLETON, Ind. (March 4, 2000) - Ricart Ford of Columbus, Ohio, has
agreed to become a part of the 2000 American Speed Association (ASA) ACDelco Series
with a contingency program for teams competing with the 2000 Taurus body style.
The Ricart Ford Contingency Program will include a three-race bonus award for
the winner of three specific events.

"With the new and totally unique engine program, ASA Racing will be better
than ever," said Fred Ricart, co-owner of Ricart Ford. Ricart, who has
also competed as a driver, realizes the talent and competitive nature of ASA
drivers. "I believe the new engine program will further enhance the level
of competition and we are privelaged to be a part of this."

Ricart Automotive was founded in 1953 by Paul Ricart, Sr. Including the
Ricart Ford dealership, Ricart Automotive was announced as the #1 Dealer in
America by Ward's Dealer Business in 1999. This mega mall now covers 66 acres, which
includes an internal road system with nine operating traffic lights, a
five acre stocked fishing pond and a digital state-of-the-art media center. The center is recognized
world-wide as the premier marketing entity of auto dealerships.

"Despite the fact the Ford Motor Company is not supporting ASA, its ironic
that thier largest single dealer would recognize the value of supporting a
Ford program on its own initiative," said ASA National Sales Manager Steve
Farmer. "While Ford Motor Company is not directly supporting a contingency for
Taurus-bodied vehicles this year, Ricart Ford, by its actions, will further ensure a level playing
field in the ASA ACDelco Series."

The dealership will post $170,000 to competitors driving Taurus-bodied
cars who finish in any of the top-three positions during each of the 20 ASA ACDelco
Series races. A Ford competitor finishing first will earn $3,000, a
runner-up finisher is guaranteed $2,000 and a third-place result will award $1,000
in prize money.

The Ricart Ford three-race bonus program offers any competitor with a Ford
Taurus body style the opportunity to pocket $50,000 by winning three
selected ASA events. Those events include Nashville Speedway USA on May 21,
Jennerstown Speedway on August 6 and Gateway International Raceway on October 14.

The ASA ACDelco Series season begins with the BFGoodrich Tires 200 on
Sunday, March 26 at USA International Speedway in Lakeland, Fla. The season
opening event is set to go green at noon (Eastern).
