Nationwide Insurance Renews Partnership With CCC Information Services; Signs Multi-Year Agreement

    CHICAGO--March 2, 2000--CCC Information Services Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of CCC Information Services Group Inc., , announced today that Nationwide Mutual Insurance Company, the nation's fourth largest provider of automobile insurance, has signed an exclusive, multi-year contract for several of CCC's claims solutions. This contract renews and extends the scope of a relationship that began in June of 1996. The agreement also marks the latest in a series of renewals of key insurance partner contracts for CCC.
    The new Nationwide agreement enhances the CCC relationship and includes Total Loss, Commercial and Recreational Vehicles (CRV) valuation service, Pathways(R) Appraisal Solution, GuidePost(R) Decision Support Tools, Pathways(R) Appraisal Quality Solution, EZNet(R) Communications Network, and Recycled Parts Solution (RPS).
    The suite of solutions included in the agreement combines state-of-the-art application software, secure communications, and comprehensive data. The flagship solution, Pathways, is based on a common system architecture and seamlessly integrates a suite of value-added applications, such as electronic communications and decision support tools, which can provide efficiencies for Nationwide's staff as well as collision repairers participating in the company's repair referral program, Blue Ribbon Repair Program.
