Infiniti Reports Best February Ever With Sales of 5,856 Units; 2000 I30 Remains Strong With a 55.4 Percent Sales Increase Versus Last Year
CARSON, Calif., March 1 -- Marking its best February ever,
Infiniti, the luxury division of Nissan North America, Inc. (NNA), reported
total February sales of 5,856 units, an increase of 1.9 percent versus the
previous year.
As the volume sales leader, the all-new 2000 Infiniti I30 reported a
55.4 percent increase versus the same period last year, with sales of
3,452 units in February. Other notable achievements for the division include:
-- The popular QX4 luxury sport utility vehicle continued with strong
sales in February with 1,020 units sold.
-- The G20 sedan posted sales of 990 units in February.
-- Infiniti's flagship Q45 performance sedan posted sales of 394 units for
the month of February.
Nissan North America, Inc. combined sales for February, including Nissan
and Infiniti divisions, totaled 59,805 units, a 19.5 percent increase versus
last year.

Infiniti QX4 luxury Sport Utility Vehicle, G20 sports sedan, I30 luxury sedan,
