The Ford Focus had its best U.S. sales month ever (23,820), and added to its long list of global accolades. It is the first time that any car has ever swept Car of the Year awards in Europe, the United States, and Canada. "The Ford Focus definitely is on the radar screen of young buyers," said Rewey. "Ford dealers are anxious to see just how high the Ford Focus can go in the spring selling season." The all-new S40/V40 compact sedan and wagon has helped Volvo achieve higher sales for 13 months in a row and records in four of the last five months.
