Land Rover North America, Inc. Announces Record February Sales Figures of 2,254 Units

         Discovery Series II Sales Up 12 Percent Versus February 1999

    LANHAM, Md., March 1 -- Land Rover North America, Inc. has
posted its best February sales figures ever.  The company sold 2,254 units in
February 2000, an increase of approximately two percent versus February 1999.
February 2000 was also the best February ever for Discovery models, with 1,803
units sold.
