MOCON to Present Technical Paper on New Method for Fuel Permeation Analysis to Society of Automotive EngineersMINNEAPOLIS, March 1 -- MOCON, Inc. today announced that MOCON scientist Michelle Stevens will present a technical paper on a new method for fuel permeation analysis at the Society of Automotive Engineers World Congress in Detroit on March 9, 2000. "We are excited about this unique new capability now being offered by our Consulting and Analytical Services group," said President, Robert Demorest. "The demand for MOCON services has been growing rapidly over the last several years, and this latest offering is a good example of MOCON's expanded service offerings and technical expertise which are supporting this growth." Impending tougher government restrictions on fuel emission levels are creating a demand for improvements in the testing of fuel tanks and related components. In response to this demand, MOCON has developed a new method for fuel permeation analysis which allows MOCON to determine the exact permeation rates of the individual sub-components contained in fuel. MOCON is a leading provider of systems and consulting services to assess materials and processes for companies worldwide. See http://www.mocon.com for more information.
