Richard Gorski Joins Textron Trim Division As VP and GM, Ford Business Unit

Richard F. Gorski Joins Textron Automotive Trim Division As Vice President and General Manager, Ford Business Unit
    TROY, Mich., Feb. 29 -- Richard F. Gorski has joined Textron
Automotive Company - Trim Division as Vice President and General Manager of
its Ford Business Unit.  The announcement was made today by Michael A.
Mitchell, Executive Vice President, Business & Product Development.
    In this capacity, Mr. Gorski, 51, will be responsible for providing the
leadership necessary to ensure that Textron Automotive Trim continues to
strengthen its customer relationship and grow its business with Ford Motor
Company.  In addition, he is responsible for all sales, marketing,
engineering, program management and business management functions relative to
business with Ford.
    "We're delighted to have Rick join us in this critical function leading
our Ford Business Unit," said Mitchell.  "His industry knowledge and skills
are a real asset as we continue to strengthen our relations with Ford and
expand our trim business with them worldwide."
    A 30-year veteran of the automotive industry, Mr. Gorski joins Textron
Automotive Company from Irausa American Company, Southfield, Michigan, where
he had served since 1996 as chief executive officer.  Prior to that, he was
with ASC, Incorporated, Southgate, Michigan, for 25 years in various sales
management, marketing, strategic planning and new business development
positions.
    Mr. Gorski studied Business Administration at the University of Oklahoma
and Eastern Michigan University.  He is a member of the American Society of
Body Engineers and the Engineering Society of Detroit.
