SAP Strengthens Partnership with World Championship winning Team West McLaren Mercedes And Becomes Title Partner of F3000 Team

    WOKING, England and HANNOVER, Germany--Feb. 29, 2000--SAP AG is proud to announce that as of today it has strengthened its Partnership with World Championship winning Formula One team West McLaren Mercedes.
    The company will be the Title Partner of the McLaren F3000 team which will be known as: The mySAP.com Competition Team. With this partnership SAP is leveraging its Internet solution mySAP.com, which enables collaborative business across enterprise boundaries.
    Current Formula One World Champion Mika Hakkinen was at CeBIT today visiting the SAP stand, where he was welcomed by Wolfgang Kemna, Managing Director of SAP Germany. "The Internet is a fantastic medium -- fast, easy, for everyone," said Mika Hakkinen. "Using the power of the internet, mySAP.com helps people in different companies, their partners and their customers, work together as if they were one company. The racing sphere, where quick and easy communication makes for race winning decisions, accurately reflects the mySAP.com world of open and efficient collaboration." The distinctive "mySAP.com" logo will appear on the helmet visor of Mika and his team-mate David Coulthard.
    To illustrate the Title Partner of The mySAP.com Competition Team, the mySAP.com logo will appear on the side pods, rear wing and nose of the F3000 car, as well as the drivers' helmet visors and overalls.
