Thom Miles Joins BorgWarner Turbo Systems As Northeast Regional Sales Manager

    CHARLOTTE, N.C.--Feb. 28, 2000--BorgWarner Turbo Systems announces the appointment of Thom Miles as regional sales manager, responsible for accounts in the Northeast area of the country.
    Miles has built a vast knowledge of turbochargers by working with the products for most of his professional career. His territory extends from North Carolina, north to Canada, and west to Ohio.
    Miles brings 19 years of industry experience to this position. For the past 13 years he has worked with Turbo Air, a Charlotte-based turbo aftermarket company. He served as production manager then general manager of the national company, which has approximately $2.5 million in annual sales.
    Originally from Southern California, he started his career at Turbocharger Inc., a reseller organization. He attended El Camino College in Los Angeles.
    Miles has been married for five years to Stephanie Gibson Miles. The couple has a three-year-old son, Wesley.
