United Recyclers Group and Actual Systems of America Announce E-Commerce Site Alliance with GO Media
DENVER, Feb. 28 -- United Recyclers Group (URG) and Actual
Systems of America (ASA) announce today their alliance with GO Media to
develop a State of the Art E-commerce site for URG Brand Parts.
The mission of United Recyclers Group, LLC has always been to effectively
increase the sales of recycled parts for URG Partners. The next logical step
for this goal is the Internet. Although URG Parts have long been on the
Internet at http://www.autopartsearch.com and http://www.u-r-g.com, the new e-commerce site
will complete the sale from beginning to end from live Pinnacle(TM)
inventories. The end-users will be able to purchase URG Brand Parts via the
Internet without ever picking up the phone.
Some of the features of the new e-commerce site will include automatic
calculations of shipping costs, warranty options, delivery time and options,
as well as secured credit card transactions. The e-commerce site will feature
inventories of Pinnacle facilities across the country. The URG Pinnacle
Partners feature the industry's only graded database, with over 4 million
parts. These features are just Phase One of the e-commerce site.
URG's Business Manager, Sharon Kellum says, "As a company, we could not be
more excited about this progression into e-commerce. This development is the
path of the future and of course URG is continuously working to assist their
Partners in maintaining their competitive edge in the recycling industry."
URG spent a great deal of time looking for the right e-commerce development
company and believes that GO Media was the best choice for its Partnership.
GO Media a Denver based company enables web application software programs
for business to business communities. It has a wide and deep expertise in the
automotive aftermarket and collision repair industries. GO Media executives
have over 40 years of experience in the automotive aftermarket industry and
relationships with some of the industries largest manufacturers.
GO Media expects to have URG and ASA's e-commerce site, featured at
http://www.autopartsearch.com, operational by early April 2000.
URG is a partnership of over 350 auto recyclers throughout the U.S. and
Canada that participate in many joint programs including co-op buying, group
advertising, shared training, Internet and the development of the Pinnacle(TM)
system, a state of the art inventory management system for URG Partners.
