DaimlerChrysler Corporation Reports U.S. and Canadian Assembly Plant Schedule for Week of February 28, 2000

    AUBURN HILLS, Mich., Feb. 24 -- DaimlerChrysler Corporation
reports all nine U.S. assembly plants and all three Canadian assembly plants
will operate the week of February 28, 2000.
    Belvidere (IL) and Toledo (OH) will operate two eight-hour shifts
weekdays.
Sterling Heights (MI) will operate two eight-hour shifts weekdays, and two
eight-hour shifts Saturday, February 26.
    Conner Ave. (MI) will operate one eight-hour shift weekdays.  Dodge City
Complex-Warren Truck (MI) and St. Louis-South (Fenton, MO) will operate two
nine-hour shifts weekdays.  Jefferson-North (Detroit, MI) will operate three
seven-and-one-half hour shifts weekdays, and three seven-and-one-half hour
shifts Saturday, February 26.
    Newark (DE) will operate two nine-and-one-half hour shifts weekdays, and
two
nine-hour shifts Saturday, February 26.  St. Louis-North (Fenton, MO) will
operate two nine-hour shifts weekdays, and two eight-hour shifts on Saturday,
February 26.
    In Ontario, Canada, Bramalea will operate three seven-and-one-half hour
shifts weekdays, and three seven-and-one-half hour shifts Saturday, February
26.
Pillette will operate two eight-hour shifts weekdays.  Windsor will operate
three seven-and-one-half hour shifts weekdays.
