On the Scene Productions Announces Six-Month Results for otsp iNews, Company's Internet-Based News Service

    LOS ANGELES--Feb. 22, 2000--

Web Site Demand for Quality Content Fuels Growth and Adds
New Dimension to Electronic Publicity Capabilities

On the Scene Productions (OTSP) today announced six-month results for otsp iNews, the company's Internet-based news service.
Originally developed as a way of expanding Internet presence for OTSP's clients, otsp iNews places streaming media news stories on branded consumer Web sites.

    otsp iNews Six-Month Review

To date, OTSP has secured more than 150 placements of specially tailored video news releases on consumer mass marketed Web sites. These placements are estimated to have reached more than 278 million unique Internet visitors.
Additionally, OTSP has created more than 70 alliances with Web sites, major portals and Internet broadcast companies, including RealNetworks, Knight Ridder, Yahoo.com, Snap.com, AltaVista.com, USAToday.com and RollingStone.com.
"As an Internet content provider, OTSP is now able to integrate the way we distribute news to traditional broadcast outlets with mass- marketed Web sites. In this way, our clients' messages are driven directly to targeted consumers who have a specific interest in our clients' information," said President Sally Jewett.
"We place our stories only on branded sites with documented track records indicating the largest volume of unique visitors. This approach is very different from that of our competitors, who are attempting to bring journalists to their unbranded sites," concluded Jewett.
In many cases, otsp iNews stories can also be linked back to the client's site or e-commerce sites for further information or product purchase.
"One of the biggest trends we are seeing on the Internet is the desire to access streaming media content," said Don Dodge, director of engineering, AltaVista. "OTSP is leading the way in providing top-notch video content and has teamed up with us to make the video footage available to users via our new AltaVista Video Search Center."
