ASV Wins 'Business to Business Campaign of the Year' Award From PRWeek
GRAND RAPIDS, Minn., Feb. 21 -- ASV Inc. ,
which manufactures Posi-Track(TM) all-purpose crawlers, earned one of the
public relation industry's most prestigious awards last Tuesday night in New
York City, when it was awarded the "Business-to-Business Campaign of the Year"
PRWeek Award.
The award, which honors the nation's best work in public relations, was
one of 33 honors bestowed during a black tie dinner held Feb. 15 at the New
York Marriott Marquis. Chairman of PRWeek's respected panel of judges was
Larry Speakes, former press secretary for President Ronald Reagan and current
senior advisor to the Postmaster General.
ASV, together with its Minneapolis-based public relations firm, Carmichael
Lynch Spong (CLS), won the award for the work done in building awareness for
ASV's Posi-Track within the construction and landscape industries. Winning a
PRWeek Award, amidst national competition, is a reflection of ASV's commitment
to communicating to the industries which buy its vehicles.
The PRWeek award comes on the heels of ASV and CLS winning two awards in
the Classics, a competition sponsored by the Minnesota chapter of the Public
Relations Society of America that recognizes work conducted by Minnesota
public relations firms. ASV and CLS won in the categories "Media Relations:
Business/Industry" and "Feature Writing" during a ceremony held Jan. 20.
ASV designs, manufactures and sells all-purpose crawlers and related
accessories and attachments. With its patent-pending Maximum Traction and
Support System(TM) undercarriage, ASV leads all rubber-tracked, all-purpose
crawlers in technology and innovation. ASV's primary product, the Posi-Track,
traverses nearly any terrain with minimal damage to the ground, making it
effective in industries such as construction, landscaping and agriculture.
