Company Continues to Attract Top Industry Talent with Two
Additional Appointments From Discount Auto Parts and
Computer Sciences Corporation

    parts.com, Inc. (formerly Miracom Corporation) (stock symbol: MIRME) today announced it has more than doubled its employee base, from 20 as of November, 1999, to nearly 50 as of today, as a direct result of the rapid expansion of the parts.com network. The additions were primarily made in the areas of software development, quality assurance and customer service. Included in these additions are today's appointments of Dan Demchak as Manager of Supplier Relations & Business Development and Dave "Saz" Sazama as System Administrator. Both are newly created positions within the Company.

    Dan Demchak Appointed Manager of Supplier Relations & Business Development

    Mr. Demchak previously served as Marketing Manager for Discount Auto Parts, Inc., one of the southeast's leading specialty retailers and suppliers of automotive replacement parts, maintenance items and accessories. Mr. Demchak's responsibilities included a number of very effective and successful promotional and marketing programs while working with such companies as ACDelco, Fram Autolite, Pennzoil, Valvoline, Purolator, Splitfire, GNB Batteries, Daytona International Speedway, Polaris ATV and one of the leading specialty automotive supply retailers, Daytona USA.

    Dave "Saz" Sazama Appointed to System Administrator

    Mr. Sazama brings an extensive background in the areas of network and systems administration to parts.com. Prior to joining parts.com, Sazama held senior positions at Computer Sciences Corporation and Northrop-Grumman .
