CTS Corporation Opens Korean Branch Sales Office
ELKHART, Ind.--Feb. 18, 2000--CTS Corporation has opened a branch sales office in Seoul, Korea to service CTS' customers, predominantly focusing on its complete product line of wireless components, according to an announcement today by Donald R. Schroeder, Vice President Business Development and Chief Technology Officer.CTS entered the rapidly growing wireless communications market on February 26, 1999, with the acquisition of Motorola's Component Products Division (CPD), since renamed CTS Wireless Components. The CPD acquisition has not only made CTS Corporation the largest supplier of quartz-based frequency control products in North America, but a major global supplier of a broad range of electronic components servicing the wireless communications industry.
The CTS Korean Branch Office will employ customer service personnel, sales engineers and field applications engineers that will design and sell CTS' wireless components to manufacturers of cellular phones, pagers and other mobile wireless devices. The CTS Wireless Product portfolio includes a full line of ceramic RF filters, surface acoustic wave (SAW) filters, temperature compensated crystal oscillators (TCXOs), voltage controlled oscillators (VCOs), quartz crystal resonators and monolithic crystal filters.
