New Officers of Michigan Rivet Corporation

    WARREN, Mich., Feb. 16 -- Due to health reasons, William B.
Stade resigned as President of Michigan Rivet Corporation, effective February
16, 2000.  However, he will remain as Chairman of the Board.
    By the action of the Michigan Rivet Corporation Board of Directors at the
Board Meeting held February 16, 2000, William P. Lianos was elected President
and Treasurer of Michigan Rivet Corporation.
    By the action of the Michigan Rivet Corporation Board of Directors, Kevin
P. Sullivan has been appointed to the position of Vice President and General
Sales Manager, effective February 16, 2000.
    Michigan Rivet Corporation has been producing specialty fasteners for the
automotive industry since 1949 and is QS-9000 and ISO 9002 registered.  Its
manufacturing facilities are located in Warren and Petoskey, Michigan.
Michigan Rivet Corporation's stock is traded on Michigan Over-the-Counter.
