Federal-Mogul Appoints Tim Wheeler, Director, Electronic Business Development
    SOUTHFIELD, Mich., Feb. 16 -- Bonnie Price, vice-president of
Customer Service and Distribution, Federal-Mogul Corporation
announces the appointment of Tim Wheeler to the position of director,
electronic business development, effective immediately.  In this position,
Wheeler will be responsible for defining the strategies and priorities around
Federal-Mogul's electronic business initiatives with the express purpose of
better connecting our customers and vendors to Federal-Mogul.
    "The opportunities for achieving internal efficiencies and strengthening
our customer partnerships will be realized with an e-Business focus," said
Price.  "Tim's e-Business team will be solely dedicated to the automation of
processes that will benefit Federal-Mogul in serving its customers."
    Prior to this appointment, Wheeler held the position of director, Customer
Service Operations, with responsibility for developing and coordinating the
customer service strategies and capabilities for the North American
aftermarket.  In this role, Wheeler also had responsibility for the Wellston,
Missouri, and the Southfield, Michigan, customer service departments.
Previously, Wheeler held the position of customer service manager, Southfield,
Michigan.   Since joining Federal-Mogul in 1989, Wheeler has held positions of
increased responsibilities within sales, marketing, product management, and
customer service.
    Wheeler earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in business administration from
Hope College, Holland, Michigan.
