Hayes Lemmerz Forms Equipment & Engineering Division
NORTHVILLE, Mich., Feb. 16 -- Hayes Lemmerz International,
Inc. , one of the world's leading suppliers of wheels, brakes,

and Process Control Automation, into one larger, more focused and efficient

This integrated structure will increase Hayes Lemmerz' capability to
provide its global customers with the conceptual design and manufacturing of
automated foundry equipment and systems, dedicated machine lines and flexible

technical support and improve its operating efficiencies.
"This is a logical evolution of our strategic growth initiative," said
John A. Salvette, President of Hayes Lemmerz' North American Cast Components

our marketplace effectiveness and competitiveness as well as facilitates
greater technology exchange."

and a 19 year veteran of the Company, was appointed General Manager,
responsible for leading the new division's initiatives.
