Federal-Mogul Named CARQUEST Vendor of the Year for 1999

    SOUTHFIELD, Mich., Feb. 15 -- For the first time,
Federal-Mogul Corporation has been named CARQUEST Vendor of the
Year for 1999.  Federal-Mogul supplies CARQUEST with bearings and seals.
    Eight CARQUEST member companies choose the CARQUEST Vendor of the Year.
Each member votes for the vendor believed to have done the most exceptional
job at helping promote the entire CARQUEST program through high quality
products, excellent coverage, availability and order fill, and strong sales
and marketing support.
