CyberMark Introduces Loyalty Application for Auto Dealerships; E-Commerce Company Integrates Smart Card Application With Internet for Service Industries
RESTON, Va., Feb. 15 -- CyberMark, the leading developer and
supplier of smart card solutions for closed campus markets announces it has
developed a smart card based coupon for the automotive industry. Paper based
service coupons are replaced with a smart card provided to consumers who
purchase or lease automobiles.
"Auto dealerships can now enhance their customer relationships and reduce
operating costs by using smart card technology and the internet, " said Thomas
K. Burke, Vice President of Marketing at CyberMark. "Electronic coupons
applied to post warranty auto repairs increase customer retention rates, and
program maintenance costs less with multiple feature smart cards. The
CyberMark card features repair and service coupons, membership and frequent
use benefits, with additional cross-marketing opportunities for dealerships
and participating merchants." Mr. Burke said he envisions future releases of
the smart card to include electronic ticketing, health care options and
banking services via GSM cellular technology. Installations of the CyberMark
automotive solution are scheduled for later this month at multiple locations
in North America.
CyberMark teams with industry leading electronic commerce organizations
like Microsoft, Gemplus, and First USA, via the CyberMark Partnership Program
to offer comprehensive smart card solutions. Founded in 1996, CyberMark is a
leading electronic commerce company, specializing in the creation of smart
card communities on the Internet and in closed campus environments.
