National Car Rental Appoints Jill Doran to Lead Northeast Region Sales

    MINNEAPOLIS--Feb. 15, 2000--National Car Rental today announced that it has promoted Jill Doran to regional vice president of sales for the Northeast Region.
    Doran, whose appointment is effective immediately, will have responsibility for corporate and agency sales throughout the 11-state region. She will report directly to Jim Wood, vice president of sales for National Car Rental.
    Doran began her career with National Car Rental as an Account Manager in New Jersey in 1988. She consistently exceeded her sales goals and in 1990 was promoted to Regional Sales Director in Philadelphia. In 1993, Doran was promoted to Director of National Accounts, and in 1994 Doran sold more than $18 million of new business for the company.

    In 1991, Doran was named sales person of the year, National Car Rental's most prestigious sales honor.
    Doran holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Education and Psychology from Fairleigh Dickinson University, and a Master of Science in Management, Travel and Tourism, from New York University.
    Doran and her family reside in Fair Haven, New Jersey.
