Kelly Services Acquires Staffing Company in Spain    

    TROY, Mich., Feb. 14 -- Kelly Services, Inc.
(Nasdaq: KELYA, KELYB), a global provider of staffing services, today
announced the acquisition of Extra ETT (Expertos en Trabajo Empresa de Trabajo
Temporal, S.L.) in Spain.

    Extra ETT is located in Martorell (near Barcelona) and specializes in
staffing for the automotive industry.  Adolfo Bargues Asturias has been
appointed sales manager of the Martorell region.  "This acquisition expands
our global automotive staffing services.  We now provide automotive staffing
on three continents," said Carl Camden, Kelly's executive vice president,
field operations, sales and marketing.
    Kelly Services commenced its Spanish operations in 1997.  The addition of
Extra ETT complements our clerical business with a significant presence in
light industrial staffing in automotive companies.  Terms of the acquisition
were not disclosed.
    Kelly Services owns and operates more than 1,800 offices in 19 countries
around the world, and provides employees with a wide range of skills, ranging
from office and information technology, to legal, engineering and scientific.
Kelly offers human resource solutions that include temporary services, staff
leasing, outsourcing, vendor on-site and full-time placement.  Sales in 1999
were $4.3 billion.
