DaimlerChrysler Corporation Appoints Steven Landry President, Chrysler Jeep Automotive - Europe
    AUBURN HILLS, Mich., Feb. 14 -- Effective April 1, Steven
Landry is appointed President - Chrysler Jeep(R) Automotive - Europe,
reporting to Theodor Cunningham, Executive Vice President, DaimlerChrysler
Corporation Global Sales and Marketing.
    In this position, Landry, 41, is responsible for all activities of the
Chrysler Jeep Global Brand Center relating to the sales, marketing and service
of Chrysler and Jeep vehicles in Europe.  Landry will be based in Brussels,
Belgium.
    "Steve's extensive experience in the U.S. sales and marketing organization
as well as in Canada's field operation will help us achieve our goal of
expanding the Chrysler and Jeep brands throughout Europe," said Cunningham.
"We're pleased to have Steve as part of the global marketing organization."
    Landry joined DaimlerChrysler in 1982 in Canada's Pacific Regional Office
and has held a number of positions within the sales and marketing organization
including General Manager - Marketing.  Most recently, Landry was the Director
- Global Sales and Marketing Training.
    Landry holds a bachelor's degree in Business from Saint Mary's University,
Nova Scotia and will complete a master's in Business Administration from
Michigan State University this May.
    Landry replaces Tom Marinelli who was recently appointed Vice President -
Chrysler/Jeep Global Brand Center in Auburn Hills, Mich..
