Johnson Controls Announces Cardkey Systems Executive Leadership Team Appointments
    SIMI VALLEY, Calif., Feb. 9 -- The following appointments
have been announced by Johnson Controls, Inc. for its Cardkey
security management systems business unit based in Simi Valley, Calif.:
    William E. Clement, vice president, business integration and expansion;
Peter Goodman, vice president, finance; Gary Kohrt, vice president,
engineering; and Ross Shuster, vice president, sales.
    Prior to their Cardkey appointments:
    Clement, who joined Johnson Controls in 1995, was the Los Angeles regional
field sales manager; Goodman, who joined Johnson Controls in 1994, was a field
financial manager in the company's Michigan area sales office; Kohrt, who
joined Johnson Controls in 1980, was director, systems development for Systems
Products Worldwide in Milwaukee; and Shuster, who joined Johnson Controls in
1988, served as area general manager for the Golden Pacific Area in San
Francisco.
    Johnson Controls acquired Cardkey, a widely recognized provider of
integrated security solutions based in Simi Valley, Calif., in 1998.  Nearly
