Bikers Dream Inc. Announces Closing of Deal and Increased Capacity
MIRA LOMA, Calif.--Feb. 8, 2000--Bikers Dream Inc. announced today that it has closed the sale of its five company-owned retail stores and its licensing operations to V-Twin Holdings Inc. (OTC:VTWN).The company will now operate using the name Ultra Motorcycle Company and will request shareholder approval of the name change at the next annual meeting.
Herm Rosenman, Chairman and CEO of the company, commented. "With the completion of this transaction, we can now focus all of our resources on building the Ultra manufacturing business, which has historically been our core competency. Ultra motorcycle products are well positioned in the marketplace as the value-priced, quality-built American cruiser.
We are also very excited about the completion of two new final assembly lines, which will add the needed capacity to respond to current and future demand."
The company is a manufacturer and distributor of quality-built American heavyweight cruiser motorcycles. Corporate headquarters and manufacturing operations are located in Mira Loma.
