American CarBuying Service Conducts Lease Payment Auction On eBay

    CINCINNATI--Feb. 8, 2000--American CarBuying Service announced its offer to auction a lease payment for a new Honda S2000 roadster on eBay's auction site.

    This is the first time an Internet car buying service has conducted an auction for the monthly payment of a lease.

    "We chose the Honda S2000 because it is in very high demand with most units selling well over the Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP)," said Tarry Shebesta, president of American CarBuying Service.

    An auction gives lessees the opportunity to save a substantial amount by choosing the payment they wish to pay. This is a better alternative than trying to negotiate with a dealer. Bidding concludes Friday February 11th.
