Autocam Announces Vote Results and Status of Merger With Titan Acquisition Corporation
    KENTWOOD, Mich., Feb. 7 -- Kentwood, Michigan-based Autocam
Corporation announced today that at a special meeting held on
Friday, February 4, its shareholders approved the previously announced merger
between Titan Acquisition Corporation, a corporation formed by Aurora Capital
Group, and the Company with a 92.5% affirmative vote.  As previously
disclosed, the public shareholders of the Company will receive $18.75 in cash
for each share of the Company's common stock.  The closing of the transaction
is in progress and is expected to be completed within a few days.
    Autocam manufactures precision-machined parts primarily used in fuel,
power steering and braking systems for the transportation industry and
ophthalmic and cardiovascular medical devices.  For more information on the
