NASCAR Renews Microphonics for the Year 2000
NASHVILLE, Tenn.--Feb. 7, 2000--NASCAR has requested Microphonics's involvement and participation for the entire 2000 racing season. Microphonics (OTCBB:MRPS) will again serve and assist NASCAR officials as a monitoring body at tracks such as Daytona, Talladega, Indianapolis, Charlotte and Atlanta. Microphonics enjoys and utilizes its strong relationship with motorsports as a research tool and for establishing and growing business to business relationships.Jimmy Gayle, CEO of Microphonics, Inc., said, "Microphonics truly appreciates the help and direction that our motorsports relationships have given us in the area of research and development. This valuable relationship has enabled Microphonics to raise the awareness and exposure of our products to a new level."
Microphonics, Inc.'s first annual shareholder meeting was held on Jan. 20, 2000 at 10 a.m. at Microphonics's home office in Nashville, Tenn.
Election of board members, authorization of additional shares, updates on pre-audit, audit and SEC filings, along with a question and answer period were among the topics discussed.
